Service Guidelines
- Cart Delivery
- Your cart will be delivered at the end of your driveway before your service begins.
- Cart Placement
- All carts must be placed out for pickup the night before your pickup day to ensure your cart is not missed. There is no set time for service, only set days, and the routes begin at midnight.
- Place carts with arrows toward the street.
- When placing the cart out for service, make sure it is 3 feet from the road, 3 feet from any obstacles (like mailboxes, utilities, vehicles, or other objects), and 2 feet away from other Trash Rangers’ carts. Failure to do so could cause interruptions in your services.
- Unacceptable Items
- Dirt
- Mulch
- Construction debris
- Waste generated by private contractors after remodeling or landscaping services
- Rocks
- Motor oil
- Cooking oil
- Gasoline
- Bricks
- Tile
- Concrete
- Liquid paint
- Fertilizer
- Chemicals
- Tires
- Any materials that extend beyond the cart rim
- The weight limit for the cart is 100 lbs.
- Cancellation Policy
- If you wish to cancel our services, please get in touch with us to confirm your last service day. The carts must be collected to cancel accounts.
- Extra Trash Policy
- Customers must call, schedule, and pre-pay for any extra trash outside the cart to be collected.
- All extra trash outside the cart must be bagged. Loose boxes that are not bagged will not be collected. The bags cannot weigh over 25 lbs. each.
- A minimum charge of $28.00 for up to five bags is applicable, and additional bags are $5.00 each.
- If you do not call and schedule the extra trash pickup, the extra trash outside the cart will not be collected.
- Cart Property and Maintenance
- All carts are the property of Trash Rangers and have been assigned to you with a serial number. The carts are considered rental property, and whether utilized or not, charges will still occur.
- If your cart needs to be repaired, please get in touch with us and let us know about the damage to the container so we can schedule a repair or have it replaced. Any other damages not caused by our company (lost/stolen carts, vehicle damage, or fire damage) will require a cart replacement fee of $85.00 per cart.
- Failure to return the cart after the service is canceled will incur an $85.00 cart replacement fee.
Payment and Notifications
- We will enroll you in our text service for service notifications.
- There is a $25.00 fee for any returned checks/NSF. Please note that payments made after 3:00 p.m. or on weekends will not be posted to your account until the next business day. If your account is suspended, the payment must be made by 3:00 p.m. before your scheduled service day for the trash to be picked up.
- Statements are sent on the first of each month, and payment is due on the 15th for the upcoming quarter. If your payment is not received and billed by the last day of the month, your account will be suspended, and late fees will be assessed.
- Failure to return the assigned cart will incur an $85.00 cart replacement fee. No refunds for any service will be given.
